Babble Zoo is a magical place where animals from different cultures come to life! In Spanish and English, this cuddly group provides an enjoyable, interactive, language-enriching hour of theater that teaches children respect and appreciation for other languages and cultures.

The new student in town speaks no English, his teacher knows nothing else, and the kids in his class aren’t much help. Come see a play where
the audience interacts with the characters to brainstorm, problem-solve, and walk a few steps in a stranger’s shoes.

This comic look at adventures in cyber space placed second in last year’s YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS COMPETITION. Discussion with young author Francis Pastorelle and THE THEATER PROJECT’S Student Playwrights’ Association follows the performance.

A small story, a tiny tale, an itsy nosh of a slice of life, A BISSEL SCHPIEL tells the universal story of the difficulties of the immigrant journey through the eyes of Yiddish (Eastern European) immigrants.

Speaking Up and
Writing It Down!
Writing the One-Act Play
A lively workshop taught by award-winning playwright Jewel Seehaus-Fisher, where students brainstorm ideas and learn to use conflict, character and structure in the in-class writing of a mini play. Refreshments are served at the conclusion, and all are invited to see The New Artists Showcase / Young Playwrights Ceremony at 3 PM.
NOTE: You must register for this event by March 9.
